WAM® 60 WFS – 60% Alumina/Mullite Based Wire Fiber Slurry

WAM® 60 WFS is a multiple purpose slurry mix used to cast high wire fiber containing precast shapes. A mullite containing mineral is the base aggregate for this material. This allows the slurry itself to be suitable for use up to 3000oF.

 

WAM® 60 WFS is designed to be self flowing at minimal water content. Under vibration, flow increases and de-airing is easily accomplished. WAM® 60 WFS is used to fabricate shapes for a variety of applications within the steel and aluminum industries.
