WAM® 60 G – Standard Cement Gunning Mix

WAM® 60 G is a general purpose standard cement containing gunning mix.  WAM® gun mixes are mineralogically identical to their castable counterparts. WAM® 60 G utilizes a mullite containing aggregate system.

 

These gunning mixes are designed to optimize the gunning characteristics of the material. This results in a slightly smaller average particle size. These gunning mixes are manufactured with a proprietary technology which drastically reduces the amount of rebound and results in a material that is easy to gun.

 

WAM® gunning mix application areas are also identical to their castable counterparts as a repair material used to maintain an increase the lifetime of the refractory lining. They are also very capable as original working linings when reduced installation time is desired or required.  Premium grade gunning mixes are used when reduced reactivity with the melt/slag is required or improved high temperature properties are desired.
